Flat & Left came to life in 2025 from the need to gather, all in one place, news from the European flat track scene. From the desire to give birth to something that until now was missing, a media dedicated solely to dirt track that would serve as a reference point for all fans and riders on the old continent.
On Flat & Left you will find the results of races, the various national championships as well as the World Championship, calendars and news to keep you up to speed with everything happening in the oval racing world.
Flat & Left is the brainchild of Carlo Pettinato, freelance journalist for magazines such as Dueruote, Rollingsteel.it, Di Brutto, Ruoteclassiche, Endurista and others. A lifelong enduro rider and flat track racer since 2022, winner of the Royal Enfield Slide School Europe Cup in 2024 and currently competing in the Dust & Fun Trophy Thunderbike class on a Rotax framer built by Mark Racing.
Just like with the Ascot Flat Track Racing Team project, Flat & Left is about pushing flat track forward in Italy and Europe—an authentic, high-potential sport that still flies too far under the radar.
