The Dutch Flat Track Cup 2025 came to an end in Blijham with a day of racing that awarded the last decisive points for the championship and the assignment of the titles. Numerous riders lined up on track, divided into as many as 12 different classes, covering all ages and all types of bikes, from minibikes to big twins and vintage machines. Here’s how things went, class by class.
The Classic 50cc was won by Niek Meijerink, in his first appearance of the season. The podium was completed by Jenno Plantenga and Joost Planje. For all of them it was just a single race this year, so they didn’t affect the top three of the overall standings, dominated by Stijn Verdonck, 2025 Champion.
The Ladies category saw Raphaela Adamczak on top, ahead of Yfke Wobbes and Frederike Nijenkamp. The order was identical in the final championship standings.
In the Minibike/Sunday Cup, Buddy Prijs came out on top, ahead of Anne Paan in second and Martin Cazemier in third. That bronze medal, however, was enough for Cazemier to secure the class Flat Track Champion title. Remarkably, after the three rounds, this class recorded as many as 18 riders scoring points, plus two more who took part without scoring any: big numbers by European flat track standards.
Even better in the Newbie class, with 26 riders scoring points across the three races. The final race was won by Tinus Wobbes, ahead of Eddie Van der Veen and Marc Offenberg, but it was Van der Veen who clinched the championship with a 9-point margin over Wobbes.
The Rookie class, with 25 riders classified over the three rounds, crowned Chris van Bergen as overall champion, finishing second in Blijham but first in the championship. The race win instead went to Martin Schreijer, in his first start of the season, ahead of van Bergen and Jeroen Offenberg.
Among the Inter, Malene Mai Solvang proved the most consistent, winning her second consecutive race of the season and taking home the title ahead of Jean-Paul Kajo, second both in Blijham and in the championship. Third place of the day went to Roelof Postma.
The Pro class was dominated by Menno van Meer, also a protagonist of the FIM Flat Track World Championship, unbeatable in Blijham as in the previous rounds. Erwin Mulder finished second, ahead of Huub Breedveld.
The Royal Enfield Slide School Cup saw a second consecutive victory – and the championship – for Jeroen Bouwmeester, in Blijham ahead of Joost Planje and Harwin Komdeur.
In Thunderbike, there was no contest: Gerben Swaagman won all three rounds, including Blijham, leaving Rogier Klippel and Gerrit Bleijleven to complete the podium.
In Vintage, the last race went to Menno van Meer, who also lined up in this class for the occasion, ahead of Andreas Steinhofer and Jan van Vijnckt. However, it was Steinhofer who secured the class title without any single race win, but thanks to consistency and three podium finishes.
In the Hooligan class, Maikel Dijkstra left no room for anyone else and closed the season as he had opened it: winning. Second place went to Martin Cazemier and third to Richard Japin. The overall Hooligan championship victory also went to Dijkstra, finishing with maximum points.
With these results, the Dutch Flat Track Cup 2025 draws to a close: a season that featured both established names and new promises. The winners of each class combined speed and consistency, while Flat Track in the Netherlands once again proved to be in good health, with numerous classes and dozens of participants in every round.
