On the beautiful speedway oval of Terenzano, near Udine, the fifth and sixth rounds of the 2025 Italian Flat Track Championship took place, following the events in Lonigo, Ravenna, and the double race in Boves. At the Friulian appointment, Daniele Tonelli arrived as the points leader, with three victories in the first four rounds, followed by Kevin Corradetti, 10 points behind, and Giacomo Bossetti, 11 points back.

In Terenzano, however, the Marche-born Corradetti, riding the Yamaha of Team Di Traverso, confirmed the regained feeling already shown in his recent international appearances, particularly with the podiums in Scheeßel and Pardubice. His speed seems to be back to last year’s level, probably just taking a few extra months to fully adapt to his new bike. In both race days, Corradetti crossed the finish line with a safe margin over his pursuers, strongly relaunching his bid for the Italian Flat Track title, recovering the 10-point gap on Tonelli, who finished third twice, and reaching a tie in the overall standings.

Tuscany rider Tonelli on the TM also had to deal with Giacomo Bossetti, GASGAS-VFR, in great form, who managed to beat him to the checkered flag on both Saturday and Sunday. Bossetti from Bergamo, although not having won a race day yet, is not far from the top duo in the overall standings: only 7 points behind, still virtually in the title fight with two rounds to go, Ravenna on October 5 and Lonigo on October 19.

A pleasant surprise of the weekend was young Angelo D’oria, also on the GASGAS of Fabrizio Vesprini’s team. The seventeen-year-old from Romagna, in his first season on a 450, finished fifth on Saturday and improved to fourth on Sunday, not far from Tonelli and ahead of the experienced Michele Guerra. For Guerra, it was still a solid weekend, finishing fourth and fifth, strengthening his fourth position in the overall Italian Flat Track Championship standings. Good performances were also seen from 14-year-old Giulio Bonavita on the Yamaha 250 of Di Traverso: a visible improvement for him and, for the first time, reaching the final on Sunday.
