Francesco Bagnaia and Augusto Fernandez won the 11th edition of the 100 Km dei Campioni, the traditional dirt track race held at Valentino Rossi’s Ranch to close the season. This year’s 100 Km was fought right down to the wire: after 50 laps and more than an hour and a half of racing, the gap to the second-placed team was barely two seconds. Finishing runner-up were Brazilian Diogo Moreira and Federico Fuligni, ahead of Luca Marini and Matteo Patacca, who were in turn less than four seconds behind the winners.
Several top teams ran into trouble: Valentino Rossi and Mattia Casadei finished 23rd and last, with 21 laps fewer than the winning duo. Second-to-last were Lorenzo Baldassarri and Jack Miller, also many laps down.
Among the “protected” flat track teams, Tim Neave and Marco Bezzecchi finished ninth, despite setting a faster best lap than the eventual winners. Francesco Cecchini and Filippo Fuligni took 16th place, while Elia Bartolini and David Alonso finished 11th – but set the overall fastest lap in 2’01″143.

This 11th edition of the 100 Km dei Campioni was also the first to feature its own Sprint Race, held on Friday before the usual Americana format. This debut Sprint was won by the host, Valentino Rossi, ahead of Luca Marini and the always-dangerous Elia Bartolini. Bartolini, however, forcefully claimed victory in the spectacular Americana, finishing ahead of Diogo Moreira, Niccolò Bulega and Senna Agius.
