The legendary Greenfield dirt track hosted the final round of the 2025 DTRA Flat Track Nationals, with the Hooligan class once again delivering the show. Devitt X Vanoni Racing entered the weekend leading the standings with Jacob James, aiming to seal the deal and bring home another title. Greenfield has always been a good omen for the team – a place where they’ve already celebrated six victories over the years.
James showed strong pace right from the opening heats, riding smoothly on a perfectly prepared surface. His connection with the Ducati Scrambler 1100 was immediate: he managed to exploit its strengths and adapt to its character, more demanding than the 800 but very effective.
After setting the second-best qualifying score, James took control of the Final on lap two and built a comfortable gap over Alan Mickel. He never looked back and crossed the line first, 0.9 seconds clear of Dutch rider Richard Japin.
Skye Adams, meanwhile, sacrificed part of her practice sessions to test new components in view of next season – a decision that showcased her determination and team spirit. Despite good speed, she couldn’t quite fine-tune her Ducati Scrambler 800 to its full potential. That development work affected her starting position, forcing her to line up third on a short, competitive track – a tough handicap. Even so, she managed to bring home fourth place in the Final, enough to secure third overall in the DTRA Flat Track Hooligan Championship standings.

With the 2025 season concluded, the title passes from Skye Adams to Jacob James – but remains, for the fifth consecutive year, within the Devitt X Vanoni Racing family.
“We’re extremely proud of this achievement,” said the team. “A massive thanks to everyone involved, especially Devitt Insurance and Ducati UK for their constant support over the years. And, of course, to our riders, who always give everything with a winning mindset.”
Jacob James added:
“It’s been an incredible season – we led the championship from Round 1 and won every race on the way to the title. Mid-season I switched to the Scrambler 1100, and it just clicked. Feels amazing to win my first DTRA Championship.”
Skye Adams commented:
“Big congrats to Jacob for the win. It’s been a challenging season, but I’m happy to finish third overall. I’ll be back next year to fight for the top spot again.”

International Women’s Race
As tradition goes, the team selected a wild card rider to race the Ducati Scrambler 800 and experience the bike in real competition. The perfect chance came with the DTRA International Women’s Race, an event that gathered female flat track racers from around the world.
The choice fell on Erin Dyer, a familiar face in the DTRA paddock, known for her performances – and podiums – in the Vintage and Minibike classes. Her clean and precise riding style had already caught the team’s attention earlier in the season.
Despite only two practice sessions, Erin handled the challenge with confidence. Two seventh places and a fifth in the heats earned her sixth place overall for the A Final, where she crossed the finish line in the same position. The most impressive aspect was her progress throughout the day – shaving almost two seconds off her lap time between morning and afternoon sessions.
“It was amazing to take part in the first DTRA International Women’s Race aboard the Devitt X Vanoni Ducati Scrambler 800,” Erin said. “It’s a beast of a bike – way bigger than anything I’ve ridden before – and I was blown away by how well it performs. Racing against 450s wasn’t easy because of the different lines, but the power of the 800 helped me hold my own.”
With the curtain falling on the 2025 season, Devitt X Vanoni Racing is already looking ahead.
The 2026 flat track campaign is just around the corner – and plenty of exciting news is on the way.
