Jeanpierre and Pion win at La Réole – French Flat Track Championship 2025, results and standings

On Saturday, July 19, the third round of the French Flat Track Championship took place on the small oval of La Réole, in an event hosted by the local Moto Club Réolais. The circuit is particularly appreciated by riders as it is one of the tracks that best rewards technical riding skills. As usual, two classes were on track: Dirtbike, reserved for 450cc motocross-based bikes, and Tracker, for framers and vintage flat track motorcycles.

In the Dirtbike category, Sébastien Jeanpierre (Kawasaki) dominated the qualifying heats and got an excellent start in the Final, securing the win. William Bonnici (Suzuki), who is also competing in the FIM Flat Track World Championship, delivered consistent and solid performances throughout the day. In the Final, he closely followed Jeanpierre but was never able to launch a decisive attack. Antonin Bergeron (Honda), after a good battle with Aubin Gourgues, completed the podium.

In the Tracker class, dedicated to vintage flat track bikes, Scott Deneux—nicknamed “The American” for his riding style and stars-and-stripes gear—missed his first win of the season. The WRracing team rider qualified for the Final with the highest score, but in the deciding race he engaged in a spectacular duel with Burgundian rider Stéphane Pion, who managed to take the lead on the last lap. Randy Deneux, also from the WRracing team, claimed an excellent third place, marking a solid return to the front of the field aboard his new Yamaha TT 500.

In the overall standings for the French Flat Track Championship, Sébastien Jeanpierre leads the Dirtbike class with three consecutive wins. He is followed by Antonin Bergeron and Aubin Gourgues, who are separated by just two points in the fight for second place. In the Tracker category, Scott Deneux holds a comfortable 12-point lead over Pion, who in turn has a 3-point advantage over Philippe Bergeron.

The final round of the 2025 French Flat Track Championship will take place on October 4 on the oval at Miramont-de-Guyenne.
