Just a few days ago, the 2026 Italian Flat Track Championship calendar was officially announced, published as usual together with the Italian Speedway calendar. As in 2025, the 2026 Italian Flat Track series will feature 7 rounds across three different tracks – unfortunately one fewer than last season.
The series will open once again in Lonigo (VI) in April, on Sunday the 19th, with a single event. It continues in mid-May with a doubleheader in Boves (CN) on the weekend of the 16th–17th. Shortly after, on Sunday May 31, the 2026 Italian Flat Track Championship heads to Friuli, on the beautiful Terenzano oval, for another single round, held right after the World Championship event scheduled for Saturday the 30th.
June is a break for everyone – at least for those not racing the FIM Flat Track – and action resumes in Lonigo on July 12. The grand finale will once again take place in Terenzano, with a double race on September 26–27 that will most likely decide the outcome of the season and crown the 2026 Italian Flat Track Champion.
Lonigo, Boves and Terenzano are therefore confirmed, but it’s disappointing to see the absence of the Ravenna round. The Romagna oval has contributed a lot in recent years and has allowed many newcomers to approach flat track, being practically the only facility where riders could train regularly. It’s also where the Dust & Fun trophy was born in 2022; its 2026 calendar has not yet been confirmed, but it should follow the Italian Championship schedule, racing only on Sundays. A decision by the Ravenna Moto Club that is hard not to regret.
